Good People & Good Food

I am blessed to have friends that not only have amazing personalities but are gorgeous too! Edie (pictured above) is one of my favorite people to photograph (and in general) because she is so comfortable in front of the camera but also has no problem doing crazy stuff for me when I need her help on a project!

And this past Friday I got to take pictures of her and her boyfriend before they went to a fraternity event. They are two of the most genuine people I have ever met and together they one of my favorite couples . I am so glad I got to take pictures of them, especially since today is their 6 month anniversary!

Of course no event could be perfect without the three musketeers being together aka myself, Edie, and Dom. I had the role of photographer and Dom helped with wardrobe, meaning she dusted off Edie's shoes when necessary.

A big thanks goes to Jesse for taking the two quality photos above.

When Jesse and Edie split from us, Dom and I then had an adventure of our own where we went to an exhibit opening reception in the main gallery on campus. This is where the chair of our department, Tom Stanley currently has an exhibit going on. He is incredibly talented and has done an amazing job with the Visual Art department. While people walked around, mingled, ate food and enjoyed the displayed art soft live music was playing.

Dom and I then headed off to the Rock Hill tradition of Food Truck Fridays in Fountain Park. Here hundreds of hungry people gather to eat from dozens of food trucks and listen to live music.

Though it was slightly overwhelming with all of the people we got to see plenty of dogs and nothing is better than that.

I had a Southwest quesadilla from a truck called Plated Palette and it was very warm and very delicious. Dom got wonton nachos that were equally as tasty! Not pictured above though is the other part of the quesadilla and the cilantro rice that came with my quesadilla meal. I was so hungry and excited I couldn't stop to take a picture!

We then of course had to get dessert (I did regret mine soon after I ate it because I had eaten so much before)! But my tastebuds were happy and I guess thats what really matters in the moment. Dom got a cherry dipped cone inside of a cup and I bought an Oreo Twister which are both shown right under this.

Overall it was a fantastic day with great food and wonderful people.
