The Johnson Family

Before I moved back to Winthrop, for my junior year in college (ahh so crazy), I had the privilege of shooting photos for the Johnson family. We had been trying to get together for months but I was in New Zealand for most of that time so obviously that didn't work. We ended up finally settling on a date in August that worked for all of us and I am so happy we were able to get the session into before classes started because I could not have left for school on a better note! Even though it was hot and humid as always in Charleston, it was such an enjoyable evening. There were only a few complaints about the mugginess and I'm pretty sure they were all made by me.

The Johnsons were such a wonderful family to spend the evening downtown with, very low maintenance and very sweet. I just had to share some of the photos that were taken that evening in a blog post! I hope you all enjoy them, they are some of my favorite family photos to date!

We were at the end of our shoot when this women walked by with the most beautiful poodle and of course we had to stop and ask for some photos with him. The dog's name is Harry and he actually has an Instagram account: harry.henning. The owner was so nice and even though he was all tuckered out from the dog park, he loved the attention.
